How often
The rate at which grass grows depends upon several factors, such as rainfall, micro climate and soil quality.
We aim to cut the grass approximately every two weeks throughout the summer months but will always respect the customer's requirements. The periodicity depends on what the grass area is used for and the time of year. More cutting may be needed in spring than in summer and even less in winter.
The weather can also affect how often we cut the grass. Heavy rain and soggy ground conditions make it difficult for us to use our mowing machines because they can cause serious damage to the grass area.
We will do our best to keep to our timetables but may be stopped from doing this by wet weather. If this does happen, we will catch up during the next few visits.
Areas where bulbs are present remain uncut for a period after the last bulb has flowered, which helps to ensure the bulbs flower again the following year. When these areas are cut all cuttings are removed and the area is then maintained as normal.
We will provide our services as little, or as often, as you like. This can be:
-
Regular - from weekly to monthly;
We will discuss your needs and agree the frequency of cut to suit.
We can carry out the work, whether you are at the property or not.
-
Ad-hoc when you want - just call us and we will be there as soon as possible.
Intended to help you if:
there is a special occasion at your property

you simply have not had time to mow the lawn
We will endeavour to provide our services to suit your requirements
